Coffee, Tea or chocolate anyone???

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful...

Today was my Protein Biotech's mid-term exam. I think, it was not really hard for those who have read and understand what they read.
I think i did it pretty bad. Too bad for me...it's my own fault anyway. Not because of the external factors but because of the late preparation. Anyway,
the time had passed for that exam. Now, i have to have my focus back to the track!!!! i Got another 4 mid-term exam??? huhu... final exam is
just around the corner. But, i am still strugling with my mid-terms...huhu...

Never mind, that's the wonderful thing for being a students. huhu... (sweet n calming words for myself.hahaha.)...

any way, i learned a lesson today. Last week, i got the chance to grab a book. I think it is for the Dietetics' students reference but i do believe that books are for everybody to read. And not only limited to those who are taking courses related to the particular books...=)

Opps...hehehe...the book was on "Coffee, Tea, Chocolate and the brain"... i was always wondering about relationship between sugar and hyperactivity. But then i realived it is not about sugar but it is about the caffeine. Coffee...tea...and chocolates..all contains caffeine...

I had the chance to flip through few pages before i've decided to type this lovely entry. hehehe...Thus, from only flipping the pages, i could say that, there are a lot of effects that we should know that can be caused by caffeine. Caffeine can effect our sleep and wakefulness, it can give effects on our behavior, it can cause mood disorders and other effects that are mostly related to our neural sysytem. (related to our nerves)

(Know what??? eventhough we are encouraged to read all sorts of books, i think i know why people always dicsouraged to read books apart from our studies...i think its all because of the 'headaching' terms...hehehe...) <--- comercial break...hahaha.

This is some interesting information that i would like to share to all:
- Shortage of sleeping at night by as little as 1.3-1.5 hours for one night would reduce one-third of our daytime alertness.
- Caffeine can induced a restless sleep..(for me, even coffee biscuits would be able to make me awake n hyper...huhu..)
- ~400mg consumption of caffeine would increase task performance for easy task but for complex task, our performance might be weaken.

=) insyaAllah i will flip and read through the pages before i send the book back to the library...

Wallahualam...
